How we use your information

This is a budget guide, not a fixed quotation. Prices include VAT. Standard installation includes normal preparation, materials, labour and machinery. Selected edging and drainage are extra. Small jobs may need a minimum charge. Final specification, quantities, drainage and cost are confirmed after a site visit.

A small shed slab and an agricultural yard need different specifications. We separate volume, concrete supply, preparation, reinforcement, delivery and placing so you can see what influences the budget.

Local delivery changes the price

Your postcode, supplier plant, order size and vehicle access matter. This tool uses provisional allowances, not live postcode prices. Your entered quote can replace the concrete rate, minimum and delivery charge.

Specification comes first

GEN, RC and PAV are different designated concrete families. Strength class alone does not define a complete mix. We capture the specification; we do not design a structural slab or approve ground conditions.

Final checks cover loading, exposure, slab and sub-base design, reinforcement, joints, damp-proofing, levels and drainage. Building bases may also require beams, foundations, insulation or specialist design outside this flat-slab calculation.

Ask your supplier to confirm

Exact mix and pumpability, local delivery, capacity and number of visits, minimum or part-load charges, offload allowance, returned concrete, hose reach, priming, washout, permits and any weekend or additive surcharges.
